• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Assignment: Approximately 13-week travel ICU nursing assignment
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Patient Population: Adults and pediatric patients with a wide variety of acute medical conditions and diseases
• Typical Staffing Ratios: 2:1 in the ICU; 3:1 in the step-down unit
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Medication System: Pyxis automated medication dispensing system
• Scrub Color: Navy blue

Travel ICU RN Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU registered nursing experience
• Current Oklahoma RN license or compact nursing license
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Current NIHSS stroke certification
• Recent pediatric nursing experience is required
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to care for acutely ill patients in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Ability to follow unit infection-control practices, including wearing a mask while working in the ICU

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to critically ill adult and pediatric patients
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with complex medical problems and rapidly changing conditions
• Recognize clinical deterioration and initiate timely interventions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely using established protocols and the Pyxis system
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Cerner
• Maintain appropriate care priorities while working within a 2:1 ICU staffing ratio
• Support safe transitions of care for patients moving between the ICU and step-down unit
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and other members of the healthcare team
