Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Memphis, Tennessee
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 21, 2027
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week; 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, approximately 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
• Call Requirement: 3–4 weeknight call shifts during each 6-week period, one weekend call assignment, and one holiday call assignment per contract
• Work Setting: On-site operating room

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• At least 1 year of operating room nursing experience
• Experience with general surgery, plastics, ENT, robotics, or related surgical services
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week and participate in the scheduled call rotation
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices, surgical asepsis, and patient safety standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary operating room environment

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative process
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for scheduled procedures
• Function effectively in the circulating and/or scrub role according to experience and department needs
• Support surgical procedures across general surgery, plastics, ENT, robotics, and related specialties
• Verify patient identity, procedure, consent, allergies, positioning needs, and surgical safety requirements
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection prevention and sterile technique standards
• Respond to scheduled call assignments, weekend coverage, and holiday coverage as required
