Compensation: $117,832-$180,377 annually based on experience
Annual Incentive Bonus: Up to 17.5%

Position Overview
A leading Level II Trauma Center is seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to oversee a high-volume perioperative services division. This leadership role is responsible for operational, financial, quality, and strategic oversight of the Main Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.
The Director will lead a large multidisciplinary team and play a key role in driving patient outcomes, physician satisfaction, operational excellence, employee engagement, and service line growth. This position oversees approximately 10 operating rooms, Sterile Processing, and more than 1,000 surgical cases per month across a highly respected surgical program.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Surgical Services
- Oversee Main Operating Room and Sterile Processing operations
- Lead quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing, productivity, and resource allocation
- Drive physician engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Develop and mentor leaders, managers, and clinical staff
- Identify growth opportunities and support service line expansion
- Ensure exceptional patient experiences and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of Surgical Services experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of Director-level Surgical Services leadership experience OR exceptionally strong Surgical Services Manager experience required
- Proven experience managing perioperative operations, staffing, and budgets
- Strong leadership, communication, and physician relationship-building skills
- Experience in Operating Room leadership required
