Minimum 2+ years recent LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) RN experience required / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS, ACLS, and NRP Required / LICENSE – Active RN License Required / Schedule: Variable Days and Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks / Setting: Acute Care – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) / EMR: Facility-specific training provided / Skills: Labor management, fetal monitoring, maternal and newborn assessment, postpartum care, newborn stabilization, vaginal deliveries, recovery care, patient education, breastfeeding support, and emergency obstetric care required / Unit Details: LDRP unit providing comprehensive care from labor through postpartum recovery and newborn care / Ratios: Follows AWHONN and facility staffing guidelines / Common Patient Population: Laboring mothers, postpartum patients, newborns, high-risk obstetric patients, and routine maternity patients / Drips: Obstetric medications including oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, and other labor-related infusions as required / RT Equipment: Standard maternal and neonatal respiratory support equipment available / Charge Nurse: Charge nurse support available per shift / OB/Neonatal Coverage: OB providers and neonatal support available per facility guidelines / Monitoring: Continuous fetal monitoring with RN interpretation required / Scheduling: Variable day and night shifts based on department needs / Weekend Requirement: As required by unit scheduling needs / Holiday Requirement: Based on unit rotation and staffing needs / Floating: May float within Women's Services and within scope of practice as needed / Call Requirement: None specified / Orientation: Unit-specific orientation provided / Scrubs: Facility-approved scrubs / Additional: 13-week assignment at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake, WA. Travelers must be comfortable caring for both maternal and newborn patients throughout the LDRP continuum. Hospital may cancel up to 24 hours during the 13-week contract.
