Description

Minimum Requirements – Cath Lab Tech
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Variable shifts starting 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM (Approx. 40 hrs/week)
Call: Required – must be able to report within 30 minutes when called in
Experience:

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred

Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac calculations

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program

Licensure / Certifications:

BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

Skills / Procedures:

Experience with angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, arterial line insertion

Experience assisting with right & left heart catheterization

Familiarity with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella, IVUS, and wave wire

Exposure to structural heart and vascular interventional procedures

Ability to assist with EP studies and emergency cardiac procedures

Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
Systems / Equipment: Cerner EHR, Merge Hemo system, Cath Lab suite equipment.

TheraEX Staffing Services Job ID #1004719. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
