Minimum 2+ years recent ICU RN experience (3+ years required if first-time traveler) / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS Required / LICENSE – Active RN License Required (DL required; must be within 60-mile radius) / Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7p–7a), 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks / Setting: Acute Care – ICU Float Pool (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU, etc.) / EMR: EPIC (experience preferred) / Patient Ratio: 1:1–2 (up to 1:3 if needed; 1:1 for high acuity cases like CRRT, IABP, Impella) / Skills: Critical care expertise, titration of all drips (pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin), ventilator management, telemetry interpretation / Floating: REQUIRED across Zone 1 facilities (no home base; includes Penrose, St. Francis, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, St. Thomas More; within 60-mile radius) and may float to PCU/Stepdown or Med-Surg Tele / Weekend: 6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule / Call: Rare (low census) / Support: Charge nurse available, RT support (not always on unit), no aides (sitters only) / Scheduling: Manager-led (6-week schedules; flexibility required) / Orientation: 1–2 days with preceptor (must be in-state for orientation week) / Additional: No monitor techs (RNs read their own telemetry), holiday rotation possible, any scrub color / PAY IS NEGOTIABLE!
