Description
Minimum Requirements – Mammography Technologist
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days – 5x8s (08:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Start Date: ASAP
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience
Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
Experience with stereotactic biopsy, needle localization, and fine needle aspiration
Familiarity with 3D Mammography procedures
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Licensure / Certifications:
ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist
ARRT (M) / ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification
California Radiologic Technologist License
BLS (AHA)
Equipment / Skills:
Experience with Hologic 3D Mammography systems
Experience with Hologic Affirm BX biopsy system
Knowledge of PPE and isolation precautions
Additional Details:
No call required
No floating required
Patient population: Adults & Geriatrics
Average ~30 patients per day
2 imaging rooms
Charting: EPIC
Scrub color: Dark solid colors (Radiology).
