Description

Minimum 2 years PCU/Stepdown RN experience required / CERTIFICATIONS – Active RN License required, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required / Schedule: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks, every other weekend, cyclic scheduling / Start Date: 06/08/2026 / Unit: PCU Stepdown / Skills Required: Cardiac and respiratory stepdown care, titration of drips, telemetry interpretation, stroke and heart failure patient care / Common Drips: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro / Patient Population: Heart failure, Afib, respiratory distress, stroke patients / Ratios: 1:4 / EMR: EPIC / Floating: ICU if appropriate experience / Scrubs: Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas / Additional: 22-bed Trauma Level 3 facility, fast-paced unit with frequent admits/discharges, CPAP experience preferred, charge nurse takes full assignment, orientation includes open-book pass/fail exam requiring 90% to pass, 50-mile radius rule applies, candidates cannot have worked for CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity within past year, driver’s license required at submission / PAY NEGOTIABLE
