Minimum 2+ years recent RN experience in Labor & Delivery/LDRP required / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS, ACLS, and NRP Required / LICENSE – Active RN License Required / Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks (every 3rd weekend + holidays as needed) / Setting: Acute Care – LDRP (Labor & Delivery/Postpartum) / EMR: MEDITECH; EFM System: OB TraceVue / Skills: Labor & delivery care, postpartum couplet care, titration of drips, neonatal stabilization, strong independence, teamwork, communication, and rural hospital experience preferred / Unit Details: 4 L&D beds, 7 postpartum beds; Labor ratios 1:1–2, Postpartum ratios 1:2–3 / Common Patient Population: >35 weeks labor patients and mom/baby couplets / Drips: Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, Zofran, prenatal vitamins, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Percocet, Toradol / RT Equipment: Neonatal vent support including CPAP, BiPAP, and High Flow (RN troubleshooting/support expected) / Charge Nurse: Present on each shift and may take assignments / Scheduling: 7p–7a; block scheduling available / Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend / Holiday Requirement: Based on unit needs / Floating: MSP/ED for helping hands or 1:1 patient sitting as needed / Orientation: 3 department-specific 12-hour shifts (12+ orientation hours total) / Scrubs: Provided / Additional: Rural CAH facility with NICU >1 hour away and limited services; strong clinical judgment and independence required; surgery team handles C-sections while RN circulates for newborn care / Radius Rule: Must live 50+ miles away and cannot be FT/PT/PRN with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities / RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract, must be submitted upfront / Facial Hair Policy: Clinicians with facial hair must pass required fit testing; contracts may be canceled if unable to meet respirator requirements
