Minimum Requirements – X-Ray Technologist

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent X-Ray experience
Certifications Required:
ARRT (R)
BLS Certification
License Required:
Active state license in hand at submission
Required Skills:
General Diagnostic Radiography
Fluoroscopy
Operating Room (OR) experience – Required
Emergency Department imaging
Portable X-ray exams
Radiation safety and patient positioning
Equipment Experience:
GE X-ray rooms and portables
Shimadzu X-ray systems
OEC C-Arms
SECTRA PACS
Epic EMR
Additional Requirements:
Must have own lead markers
Radiation badge required before assignment start
Ability to float between General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portables
Schedule:
Monday–Tuesday and every other weekend
10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
36 guaranteed hours per week
Call Requirements:
Occasional call may be required
45-minute response time
Work Environment:
High-volume department (80–100 studies per 24-hour period)
Radiologist on-site 24/7
Preferred Qualities:
Strong OR and fluoroscopy background
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care setting
Flexible team player willing to cover multiple imaging areas.
