Description

Basic Minimum Requirements – MRI Technologist

Position: MRI Technologist
Location: Houston, TX

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of MRI Technologist experience
Current BLS Certification
ARMRIT certification required (AMRIT accepted)
Experience operating Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners
Ability to perform MRI procedures independently in an acute-care setting
Familiarity with contrast administration and MRI safety protocols
Experience with EPIC charting preferred
Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule
Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Schedule:

Four 10-hour evening shifts
Tuesday–Friday, 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
40 guaranteed hours per week
Call rotation approximately once per month

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Siemens MRI systems
Acute care hospital experience
Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency MRI studies

Key Highlights:

No Texas state MRI license required
6-week assignment
Philips 1.5T & 3T environment
EPIC EMR
BLS and ARMRIT required before start date
Medlivo Job ID #1116257. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
