Minimum 2+ years recent Acute Care RN experience required / LICENSE – Active RN License Required / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS Required / Schedule: 12-Hour Day Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM), 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week / Start Date: 07/06/2026 / Duration: 13 Weeks / Setting: Acute Care Clinical Command Center / Unit: Bed Placement/Patient Placement – Emergency Department Support / EMR: Cerner / Bed Management System: TeleTracking / Skills: Bed Placement Coordination, Patient Flow Management, TeleTracking, Cerner, Multitasking, Critical Thinking, Customer Service, Communication, Computer Proficiency, Zoom, Google Applications, Understanding of Hospital Unit Levels of Care (Med-Surg, Telemetry, ICU, etc.) / Patient Care: ZERO Hands-On Patient Care Responsibilities / Assignment Scope: Manage Bed Placement for Up to 3 Hospitals with Combined Capacity of Approximately 500–1000 Beds / Common Duties: Review Bed Requests, Assign Appropriate Patient Placement, Coordinate with ED Staff, Charge Nurses, and Leadership, Utilize Multiple Applications Simultaneously, Escalate Placement Concerns When Appropriate / Required Experience: Recent Acute Care Experience Required; Candidates with Predominantly SNF/LTC Backgrounds May Be Declined / Required Systems Experience: TeleTracking and Cerner Required / Leadership Support: Lead and Supervisor Available 24/7 / Weekend Requirement: 4 Weekend Shifts Per 4-Week Schedule (Days: Saturday and Sunday) / Holiday Requirement: Must Be Available to Work Holidays if Needed; No PTO Approved for Holidays / Floating: None / Scheduling: Initial Schedule Assigned; Future Self-Scheduling Available but Subject to Staffing Balance Needs; No Block Schedule Guarantee / Orientation: 1 Day General Hospital Orientation Plus 3–5 Days Department Training; Training May Occur on Any Shift / Dress Code: Any Clean, Professional Scrubs or Casual Attire Including Jeans (No Rips, Tears, or Holes) and Clean Hoodies Without Large Writing / Additional: Clinical Prescreen Required Followed by Manager Interview / Limited to No RTO Accepted / Dysrhythmia Exam Required Within 24–48 Hours of Acceptance (Pass/Fail, Two Attempts Allowed); Current Relias Dysrhythmia Exam Within 12 Months Accepted / Candidates failing the second attempt will be designated DNU for CommonSpirit Arizona and Sacramento facilities / Candidates must not have been directly employed (FT, PT, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the previous 12 months.
