Description

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Unit: Laboratory (Acute Care)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Nights with Weekends
Shift Length: 12 Hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Minimum Requirements

MLT (AMT/ASCP) or MLS Certification

BLS (AHA)

Minimum 2 years of recent Generalist Laboratory experience

Experience

Generalist laboratory experience required

Acute care/hospital laboratory experience preferred

Night shift experience preferred

Microbiology basics

Specimen processing

Quality control and quality assurance

Laboratory instrumentation troubleshooting

Phlebotomy (occasional/rare venipuncture required)

Nights: 7p–7a

Weekend rotation required

Holiday rotation required

No self-scheduling/block scheduling

Additional Requirements

Must live 60+ miles from facility to qualify as traveler

Driver's License required at submission

Must be in-state during orientation week

First week includes department-specific orientation

TheraEX Staffing Services Job ID #1126923. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
