Description

Echo Sonographer | 13-Week Travel Contract
Specialty: Echocardiography (Cardiac Sonographer)
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday (8-Hour Shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Experience Required: 2+ Years
Charting System: Cerner
Minimum Requirements
RDCS (Adult Echocardiography) (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI)
BLS (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of recent Echocardiography experience
Acute care/hospital experience
Ability to independently perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with stress echocardiograms
Contrast echo experience
Bubble study experience
TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) experience/assistance
Knowledge of Doppler and color flow imaging
Job Duties
Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE)
Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images
Perform Doppler, color flow, and M-mode imaging
Assist physicians with stress echoes and TEEs as needed
Accurately document findings and maintain patient safety
Department Details
Charting System: Cerner
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
