Inpatient Oncology Pharmacist | 13-Week Travel Contract
Specialty: Inpatient Oncology Pharmacist
Shift: 4×10-Hour Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Call: Rotating On-Call
Experience Required: 3+ Years
Charting System: EPIC
Minimum Requirements
Active Pharmacist License (state license as required)
BLS Certification
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacy degree
Minimum 3 years of recent hospital pharmacy experience
Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
Acute care hospital experience
Preferred Qualifications
Oncology pharmacy experience
EPIC/Beacon experience
Clinical rounding experience with multidisciplinary teams
Experience with chemotherapy protocols and oncology medications
Experience with specialty medication coordination and formulary management
Job Duties
Participate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds
Review and verify medication orders
Provide clinical medication recommendations and interventions
Develop and maintain treatment protocols in EPIC/Beacon
Assist with transitions of care to outpatient oncology pharmacy
Coordinate specialty medications and non-formulary requests
Ensure safe and effective medication management for oncology patients
Facility Highlights

Setting: High-acuity academic/quaternary care hospital
Patient Population: Advanced oncology, cardiac, and multi-organ transplant patients
Average Census: ~600 patients
