Ultrasound Tech – Key Requirements
Experience: 2+ years
Certifications: ARDMS + ARRT + BLS
Must Have: X-ray experience
Specialty: General Ultrasound — NO vascular or echo
Studies: Adult & pediatric ultrasound, biopsies
Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Call: 1 weekday night/week + every 4th weekend
Weekend/Holiday: On-call rotation
Trauma: Level III
Equipment: Siemens
EMR/PACS: EPIC / McKesson
Rooms: 2 ultrasound scanners
License: No state license required to submit
Radius: 50-mile rule
Orientation: 1 week, Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Important: Artificial nails are prohibited in patient-care departments
