Description

Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
Location: Omaha, NE
Start Date: 12/08/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients in a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting.
Circulate in OR for C-sections and assist with recovery and postpartum transition.
Perform newborn assessments and routine baby care; float to Postpartum as required.
Manage and titrate medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and pain drips per protocol.
Document accurately using Epic EMR and follow all hospital safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required.
Must be competent in circulating for OR C-sections and caring for both mother and newborn.
Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-volume OB unit.

Certifications & Licensure

BLS – Required
NRP – Required
Driver's License – Required (for 50-mile radius verification)
