Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Kearney, NE

Duration: 16 Weeks

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive critical care to adult patients in a 33-bed ICU
• Manage patients with trauma, cardiac conditions, sepsis, stroke, respiratory distress, and substance overdose
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment from nasal cannula to ventilators
• Read, interpret, and document cardiac strips using Client monitoring system
• Collaborate with healthcare team including physicians, RTs, and nurse aides
• Float to PCU and Med-Surg units as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios
• Document all patient care accurately in EPIC system

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with trauma, cardiac, and critical care patient populations
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to titrate multiple drips and manage complex patients
• Must live outside 50-mile radius (driver's license verification required)
• No current or prior employment with CommonSpirit Health facilities
• Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current, active Nebraska RN license or compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
