Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
Location: York, ME
Start Date: November 24, 2025
Duration: 13 Weeks

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care during cardiac catheterization, TEE, and cardioversion procedures.
Support interventional radiology procedures, including circulating, monitoring, and pre- and post-procedure care.
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures ensuring adherence to safety and sterile protocols.
Monitor patients for any complications or changes in condition and intervene as necessary.
Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
Participate in rotating on-call coverage and ensure timely response within 20 minutes of the facility.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
Ensure compliance with infection control and state vaccination requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
Strong knowledge of TEE, cardioversion, and cardiac diagnostic procedures.
Ability to flex between Cath Lab and IR roles as needed.
Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital for call responsibilities.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – State of Maine (or compact).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification – American Heart Association.
Proof of influenza vaccination (as required by State of Maine).
