Description

Job Title: Critical Care FLOAT
FLOAT POOL - Critical Care
Submission Requirements:
WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate will apply (less than 75 miles)
Can be floated to any unit within the hospital except for Psych and ED (unless it is to manage holds)
Will have to float to MS and take an assignment that could include 6-7 patients
2 years experience - ICU
BLS, ACLS , NIH required
Active NY RN license required at time of submission
NURSYS Report Licenses verification with all active RN licenses RTO MUST be included at time of submission
EMR: Epic

Job description:
Unit: Critical Care Float Pool
Shift: 6:30a - 7p (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
Floating Required: Yes - THIS IS A FLOAT POSITION
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Common Patient Diagnosis: euro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx Specialty Equipment: IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM Number of Beds in the Unit: 42 beds
