Unit Notes
- Unit: RT

**must have travel experience and 2-5 years' experience in critical care**

- # beds: 267, Covers ICU, and all other medsurg/tele areas
- Certs: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS - NPS if want to work in NICU, state of CA requires RRT (will not accept CRT)
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Charge RT on 24/7
- Weekend Requirement: every other weekend
- Holidays: Expect to work most holidays
- Scrub Color: Black
- Tele: Client
- Vents: Hamilton, G5, C1, MR1, Galileo's
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist 24/7
- IV Team: NO
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Shifts: 12 hrs 6-630, weekends are assigned, some flexibility for week schedules, schedules made out about 3-4 weeks in advance, block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
- Floating: To all areas except NICU
- Floor specific orientation: 2 days
- Common diagnosis/Types of patients: COPD, Asthma, Client, CHF. Common duties include breathing treatments, ABGs, EKGs, NIV, HFNC therapy, IPV, PEP/PAP therapy, etc.
- Additional Notes: must have travel experience and 2-5 years' experience in critical care, with experience in Respiratory Therapy Driven Protocols. This facility is strictly protocol driven.
