Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Diagnostic experience and screening. Dexa experience a plus. They do some procedures such as wire localization and biopsies

Average # of scans/studies per day avg. 18 mammos a day
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC
Penrad- EMR specific to mammo
PACS-Sectra
Department Specific Equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens) Hologic, DEXA- Client

Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech One Lead at each location
Radiologist in-house? On site for all contrast and procedure exams
Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) NA
Shifts & Scheduling variable between 0730-2130, 8 hour shifts. M-F
Weekend Requirement occasional Saturdays- Varies per contract

** There are 4 locations, all about 15 minutes from each other. Could be assigned to any of these outpatient centers, they would know ahead of time which location they will be at for the shift
