Minimum Requirements – Ultrasound / Echo Tech (Multispecialty)

Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days + On-Call Required

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years Ultrasound experience
Multispecialty ultrasound experience required
Experience with General, OB/Fetal, Vascular, and Echocardiography studies
Ability to work with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

Licensure / Certifications:

BLS (AHA)
ARDMS or equivalent ultrasound certification preferred

Required Skills / Exams:

General Ultrasound: Abdomen, Aorta, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Spleen
OB / Fetal Ultrasound: 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester scans, fetal anatomy survey, AFI, placenta evaluation
Breast Ultrasound
Transvaginal Ultrasound
Vascular Studies: Carotid, arterial/venous duplex, Doppler studies
Echocardiography: Adult echo, contrast echo, stress echo (treadmill)

Equipment / Systems:

Experience with GE ultrasound equipment
PACS imaging system

Additional Details:

Multispecialty role covering ultrasound and echo procedures
Level IV Trauma Center – Short Term Acute Care Hospital
May assist with training/precepting staff
Patient population: Neonates to geriatrics.
