Description

Requirements:
Active RN license (state where care is provided)
Minimum 1 year of recent Postpartum experience within the last 3 years
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- PALS
Experience with:
- Electronic fetal monitoring
- IV therapy and lab draws
- High-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin)
- Urine point-of-care testing
- Capillary blood glucose testing
- i-STAT testing
- Adult cardiac monitoring
- Newborn pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring
- Newborn heel sticks and venipuncture
- Newborn IV medication administration and maintenance
- Bili blankets/lights
- Radiant warmers
- Maternal-newborn education
- Gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training
