-BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
Required Skills & Experience:
-One (1) year of nursing experience.

-BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
-Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC).

Radiation oncology Experience preferred but NOT required.
Cancer RN experience helpful, NOT required.
UNC Medical Center---UNCH Radiation Oncology Clinic---Performs the procedures and care for the patients receiving HDR. HDR brachytherapy is an advanced type of internal radiation therapy, providing high doses of radiation in a short timeframe. Nurses with surgical and/or procedural experience would be highly successful in this role and may enjoy the opportunity to use their skills in this highly specialized treatment area.
