Position Summary

Pagosa Springs Medical Center is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to provide observation and/or inpatient care to patients assigned to the Med Surg Unit. The RN is responsible for assessing and prioritizing patient care, administering nursing care and procedures, monitoring and reassessing patients, documenting assessments and changes in condition, educating patients and families, collaborating with providers, and supporting continuity of care to help prevent readmission.

Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
EHR: Cerner experience required
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Current Colorado RN license in good standing
Current AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers
Current ACLS certification, or ability to complete at the next available course within 3 months
Current PALS certification, or ability to complete at the next available course within 3 months
Cerner EHR experience required
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
