*** Pediatric Facility Experience Required ***NEED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR HOLIDAYS IF UNIT NEEDS COVERAGE. For example, may need to work Labor Day weekend. Specialty: Ultrasound Technician - GeneralShift(s): DAY/EVE - can do 4x10s OR 5x8s*Up to two weeks of night-shifting and 4 weekends if needed*Weekend: Yes; up to 4 weeks as listed aboveFloating: Yes Main unit to ER, and possible portables, OR, ICUCert Requirements: BLS, RDMS-ABRequired Experience:*** Pediatric Facility Experience Required ***- 6 months of Pediatric experience required- Vascular procedure experience required- Ultrasound procedure experience required- Portables, inpatient, ER, PICU, NICU, and Neonate experience requiredPreferred Experience:- Outpatient, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Children s Hospital experience- EPIC and Rad Net experience- RMDS peds, RVT certificationsAdditional info about the unit:- Full general PEDS and full vascular lab. DVT's, post pic lines, IJ's, peripheral vascular, a lot of ED with appendicitis, testicular, portables in the ICU, ER patients, full transplant center: liver and kidney, multiventicular transplants. Candidates without a Washington license must be willing to apply upon offer. Copies of all required certifications must be included. Submission Rules : Maximum of 3 active submissions per traveler. Local candidates are accepted at the standard bill rate. Epic experience is preferred but not required. Background findings are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler. Travelers who have worked continuously for 1 year must be separated for 90 days before returning on a new travel assignment. Start / Facility Instructions : Modules: For RNs and most Techs, modules are completed pre-start and are not included in orientation. Module time is billable for up to 8 hours at the regular hourly rate. Exception: RRT modules are completed on the first day of orientation and are not eligible for reimbursement. Module completion is tracked through transcripts in the traveler's Grow@SC account.
