About the PositionPosition/Specialty: Mammography Tech - Outpatient ClinicTravelers are required to perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day. Diagnostic mammography exams may be performed as the schedule allows; however, the primary focus of this assignment is screening mammography.Fast paced outpatient facility that requires autonomy, effective teamwork, great communication, a positive attitude, and flexibility.Daily Caseload: 55Shift: 5x8s, 8:30am to 5:00pmWeekend REQ: NoIs on-call REQ? NoOvertime - Technologist must be willing to shift work hours if overtime is involved. For example, if the tech works beyond her contracted shift, she may be asked to come in late the next day to eliminate overtime.Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? YesFloating Req to Sister Facilities: Yes, travelers are required to float to facilities throughout the Charleston area as needed. Required/PreferredYears of experience REQ: 1+ yearsFirst-timers accepted: YesCert/License Requirements: BLS; ARRT (M); SCRQSA (M) SC state licenseSpecial Requirements: MUST KNOW HOW TO OPERATE SIEMENS REVELATIONS/HOLOGIC DIMENSION EQUIPMENT - HARD REQUIREMENT. Must perform Screening and diagnostic mammograms.Radiation Badge Req (Y/N): NoMiscellaneousOpen to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment but not guaranteed.Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles.Are locals accepted? Yes, at on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill ratePending State License accepted: No, SC license must be in hand prior to startRTO Restrictions: All RTO must be disclosed at submission.
