Description:TRAVEL - OT (766) - Wesley Medical Center - 8A - 4P Unit Information: Occupational Therapy / (766) Location: Wesley Medical Center Address: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 Floor: 1st Building: 3 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds OT Daily Census of approx. 250 active consults/day Number of Staff Headcount 30, FTEs 17.29 Type of staff: o 2:1 OTR to COTA ratio Patient Ratios Typically 8-10 assigned to OTR/s day Type of equipment general acute care DME EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 6 months acute care hospital OT experience Active KS licensure BLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Trauma Experience Comprehensive Stroke Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): OT evaluations OT treatments Best personality Fit: Ability to work independently with little oversight; high accountability Good communication and collaboration skills Flexibility given the nature of practice in acute care Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
