### Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced **Neurodiagnostic / EEG Technologist** to join a leading pediatric hospital in Louisville, KY. The EEG Tech will perform a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures while ensuring patient safety, accurate data acquisition, and compliance with ASET standards.

### Responsibilities

* Perform routine inpatient and outpatient EEG studies
* Conduct prolonged EEGs and continuous long-term monitoring
* Utilize the 10-20 electrode placement system
* Monitor and evaluate EEG/video recordings in EMU settings
* Observe and document clinical seizure events
* Communicate significant patient events to physicians and nursing staff
* Assist with advanced neurodiagnostic procedures including:

* VEEG monitoring
* WADA procedures
* Brain mapping
* Intracarotid EEG recording
* Ictal SPECT support
* Maintain patient safety and electrical safety standards
* Ensure infection control and ASET compliance
* Educate patients and families regarding procedures
* Support additional neurodiagnostic testing including Evoked Potentials and SSEP studies

### Requirements

#### Required:

* Minimum 1 year of hospital-based EEG experience
* Experience with:

* EEG monitoring
* Neurodiagnostic procedures
* 10-20 electrode placement system
* Patient monitoring and clinical event evaluation
* Current BLS Certification
* Strong English communication skills

#### Preferred:

* R.EEG.T Certification
* Experience with advanced EEG monitoring and EMU settings

### Schedule & Contract Details

* **Shift:** 3x12 Nights
* **Hours:** 36 hours/week
* **Contract Length:** 13 weeks

### Compensation

* **Base Rate:** Up to $67/hour
* Holiday and on-call rates available
