Description
Unit: NEURO ICU
Job details: Can float to stepdown 1:4 ratio BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - CRRT highly preferred
Assessment tools: Stroke signs/symptoms competency (ex. BE-FAST)
NIHSS Certified (current certificate on file, obtained w/in 2 years of start date)
Bedside Dysphagia screening competency (on file)
Minimum 1-year experience working in a certified stroke center critical care unit**preferred
Familiar with current Stroke guidelines and performance measures for Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic strokes
IV-tPA administration and post-tPA monitoring competency
State licensure : KY/Compact in hand
RTO accepted or not: Must be included in submittal
Charting: Meditech experience preferred, not required.
65 mile radius restriction
