The department utilizes a 5 level triage system and advanced nursing guidelines to help expedite patient care. Special Procedures/Unit Details : Staffing Ratios can range for days 1:4-6, Nights 1:4-7Low acuity area, ratios can be higher Module Education must be completed before traveler can work on the floorThe ER also has on site ER case management RN s, SANE (sexual assault nurse examiner) RN's and ground Critical Care Transport team. Special Equipment : - #Tier2 Travel Compliance Compliance Expectations : Document due date is the Tuesday prior to start. RN License Policy : MI License must be active by start date. Recruitment should include pending license ETA in submission email, if applicable. Compact license not accepted in MI. Certification Policy : AHA preferred RTO Policy : Client has a 5 day maximum RTO policy, per contract. All RTO should be submitted at time of submission. EMR Policy : EPIC Experience preferred, training completed in orientation Return Traveler/staff Policy : If a core staff member leaves, they need to wait 1 year (12 months) prior to returning and should be ran through HR prior to submission Education Policy : All allied candidates must be able/willing to provide proof of HS level education (regardless of secondary education). This is a strict requirement. Sparrow Hospital ER : requires EPIC and trauma L1 experience, ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH, and TNCC. This is a strict requirement. Certifications may NOT pend beyond contract start.
