SIMPLIFI CLINICAL INTERVIEWINGMinimum years of experience: 2 years with 1 year of Mother-Baby/PostpartumRequired Licensure Certifications: BLS NRP; EFM preferredWill you accept a first-time traveler? YesPatient Types: Post partum and low risk ante-partum.Skills required: breastfeeding assistance; newborn care, including vital signs, thermoregulation, managing hypoglycemia, bilirubin levels, and NAS (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome) babies. Newborn lab and phlebotomy and IV skills (adult) are preferred, as well as experience with PKU testing; ability to independently care for 3-4 couplets, provide discharge teaching, vaccinate neonates, and perform thorough assessments and reassessments for both mothers and babies. Must also be able to perform fundal checks on postpartum patients.EMR: EPIC (experience preferred)Floating: LD and NICU; unit is a closed pod to birth center, voluntarily you can float to med surg to sitWeekend rotation: Yes, every other or every thirdOn call?
