Description:Data Collection: Location: Hill Country Address: 1020 S State Highway 16, Fredericksburg, TX 78624 Floor: 2nd Building: Main Campus General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 10 Number of Staff 12 Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 charge 7a-7p, 1 AM RN 7a-7p o Night Shift 1 charge 7p-7a, 1 PM RN 7p-7a Patient Ratios 1:4-5 Type of equipment Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, Verathon bladder scanner EMR Meditech Expanse Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 3+ years recent ICU experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Previous experience as charge role (not necessarily to charge here, but to know they can multi-task and think independently) List typical procedures performed on unit(s): STEMI protocol, Stroke protocol, Conscious Sedation, Chest Tubes, Codes, Intubation, Best personality Fit: Friendly, Honest, Flexible, Multi-tasker, Compassionate, Works well with others, sense of urgency when needed, possesses superb critical thinking skills REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Floating Area(s): N/A Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
