Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital Med/Surg Tele RN. (Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED to care for same patient population)

20 weeks to provide winter coverage, 13 weeks also accepted at this time!

One year of recent oncology/chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not required. Experienced oncology nurses are encouraged to apply; training will be provided to qualified candidates interested in administering chemotherapy.

D/N rotating shift: 7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm (Shifts may be variable, IF NEEDED TO MEET THE OPERATIONAL NEEDS OF THE HOSPITAL, Facility will do their best to honor travelers preferred shift but reserve the right to rotate them if necessary.)
MUST HAVE 18 months combined perm experience in specialty applying for (preferable to be within one location but can be combined)
MUST ALSO HAVE 18 months of RECENT MS/Tele experience - travel experience will suffice.
MUST HAVE PERM OHIO LICENSE OR COMPACT STATE IN HAND
AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS cert required.

Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required.

PLEASE USE ALL BELOW SUB REQUIREMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

Experience: 18 months combined perm experience in specialty applying for required (preferred to be within one location but not required)

Must have a PERMANENT Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission.

*One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor or director in the specialty applying for are REQUIRED to qualify for submission. Please no co-worker references, these will not be considered, and profile will be rejected. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months.

Locals accepted at same BR

PBDS Assessment is waived. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass, otherwise will be canceled.

BG hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility but will not accept any traveler with an open case

Facility does not accept any license hits.

Nurses and CSTs are EXEMPT from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements. Exemption is temporary and will be honored until further notice. All other travelers (aside from Nurses and CSTs) MUST BE NICOTINE FREE - Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start. Must be updated annually.

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date.

IMPORTANT - BCI/FBI prints are time Sensitive - Must completed within 48 Hours of signing contract.

Extensions: Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months. A 6-month break is required before returning, unless approved by the client. Reach out to the AM if Client approval is needed.

Modules:

Average 6-15 hours of modules

Modules are completed pre-start and annually, and time needed varies by specialty

this only pertains to annual modules required by the facility and applies to travelers who have been on contract for a continuous year. Does not apply to one-off competencies
