Will consider traveler with outpatient US experience

SUMMARY:
The Registered Ultrasound Technologist is responsible and accountable for providing quality imaging of patients to aid in the diagnosis and continuum of care of patients and assist Radiologist with exams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an Ultrasound/Sonography program
Experience: Minimum of 1 year related experience as a Sonographer
Certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, and current CPR

Spend eight hours or more performing Sonography exams in the department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Required to go into on-call rotation and respond to call within 30 minutes.

ARDMS*, ARRT or ARDMS, ARRT S*, BLS
