This role is about 90% front office and 10% back office. Chart patient s chief complaint, may assist w/obstetrical history, and take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse respiration, height and weight). Follow physician orders and give the patient their discharge instructions. Complete order in EMR and submit to Superbill including any other charges. Follow route slips for physicals and complete the necessary portions of forms. Complete patient registration process and update as required. Greets patients, check-in and check-out process. Handling busy phones, maintaining proper documentation of all paperwork, medical record functions, including scanning correspondence, forms, prescription refills as well as taking messages. May perform other duties as assigned. Submission Rules : Maximum of 1 active submission per candidate. Local candidates are accepted at the standard bill rate. Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler. Start / Facility Instructions : Facility Expectations Facility maintains a strict dress code. Candidates must comply with the following: No facial hair. No acrylic nails. No unnatural hair colors. All tattoos must be covered. No visible body piercings other than earrings. No facial or nose rings. Earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings. Modules Modules are completed during orientation and are factored into NBO. Average module time is 3 6 hours, though requirements vary by specialty. Module time is non-billable. Module completion is tracked on the facility report.
