REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 2 YrsTraveler Experience: Unit WILL Accept 1st time travelersLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: YesSkills: Conscious Sedation, Telemetry. Must also understand IR procedures including stroke.Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIHPREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: PALS, Circulate, Vents.JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 16 cases per day with three IR rooms and pre and post coverage in RPPU (Radiology Pre Post Unit) as needed.*40 Hours Can Be OfferedShift: 4x10HR 7a-17:30p, MONDAY - FRIDAY schedule13 Weeks Requested!CALL Requirement: Have to be at Hospital within 30 minutes, 1 week of backup then Primary on Thursday so 8 call days in a 10-12 week time tract/period. Could possibly be on call one Holiday (primary or Back up).Call is from the end of the shift until 0700. Backup call will back up the call person from the end of shift until 0700.On the weekends it is 24 hour call and backup call. Saturday and Sunday 0700-0700. Call is on a rotational basis. We are on call for emergencies and to wrap up the day.If call person that day gets sick we use a fill list which you would be on as well. Non teaching facility Special Procedures/Unit Details : Workload is M-FPreferred: Circulate Special Equipment : - #Tier2 Travel Compliance Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours. Submission Process : All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review Submission Details : Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed. Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission. Local candidates (50 miles) : Lower rate applies. RTO : Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing. NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description. Travel pairs : Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed). Charting : See job description. References can be pending at submission. Modules : Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours.
