Job Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN Allied- SLP
Shift: Days/9a-5p, 8x1, 8hrs per weekLength: 13 weeks
Requirements:
  • CA License
  • Minimum 1 year of patient care experience
  • AHA BLS
  • Masters degree with clinical fellowship (BS degree if graduated more than 15 years ago)
  • Experience providing patient care in acute care hospitals and acute rehab/IRF patient care settings preferred
  • Experience/competence with Modified Barium Swallow Studies and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing preferred
  • Epic charting system
Others
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required + Booster - Medical/Religious Exemptions only
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Unknown

SLPs are needed 
Requirements- Minimum 1 year of patient care experience- Possession of or proven eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board of California.- AHA BLS- Masters degree with clinical fellowship (BS degree if graduated more than 15 years ago)- Floating between UCSF locations- Availability for 2 weekend day shifts per month- 2 Supervisory references from most recent place of employment
Preferred- Experience providing patient care in acute care hospitals and acute rehab/IRF patient care settings.- Experience/competence with Modified Barium Swallow Studies and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing
Orientation Details- 24-40 hours of orientation. 3-5 days at 8 hours. Depends upon clinician's experience. Prefer consecutive orientation dates, but can accommodate splitting it up. All dates will need to be completed within 3 weeks from start.

Additional Details- Epic charting system- 1 year Separation period- COVID/Flu info (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
