• Number of Beds : 2 Labs, 5 Patient Bays
• Patient Ratios :
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Currently 2 FT RN, 5 FT RCIS,
• Type of equipment : GE/MacLab
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: Mon - Fri 0700-1530, plus after-hours oncall

Previous Cath Lab/ IR Experience

Advanced skills needed:

Procedures performed on unit: Pre, intra, post care of the cardiac patient

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

• Generally have 3 STEMIs a month. Being oncall isnt a huge burden as the callback is minimal.
