Description
Job Summary - Ultrasound Technologist - Perform ultrasound imaging for pediatric and adult patients, often with high acuity. - Manage a patient census of 1-2 patients per hour. - Utilize and maintain department-specific equipment (GE Logiq 10) and document in EPIC EMR. - Collaborate with on-site radiologists and other healthcare professionals. - Demonstrate strong patient care, communication, and time management skills. - Meet physical requirements, including ability to pull and push equipment. - Required certifications: BLS and ARDMS-AB. - Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Ultrasound Technologist required. - May float to various departments (inpatient, outpatient, ED, pediatrics) as needed. - Participate in facility and departmental orientation (NEO + 2 days). - Work schedule varies, with a two-week schedule cycle; weekends may be required based on departmental needs. - No on-call or major holiday shifts required. - Wear black scrubs; free parking provided. - Role open to first-time travelers.
