Description
- Position: Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN)
- Location: Seattle, WA (Heart & Vascular Clinic)
- Assignment: 13-week contract to cover a caregiver on leave
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (5x8hr shifts)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years as an RN in Electrophysiology
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Weekend/On-call/Float: No weekends, no on-call, no floating required
- Licensure: Active RN license required
- Required Skills:
- Cardiac Cath Lab procedures (Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal, Watchman procedure)
- Electrophysiology procedures (Arrhythmia induction, Cardiac ablation, Cardiac mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction studies, Insertion/programming of AICDs, LAA closure, Pacemaker insertion)
- Medication administration (Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Thrombolytics)
- Cardioversion, Dysrhythmia interpretation/management, 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition
- Patient Engagement:
- Educate patients on lifestyle and medication adherence
- Team Collaboration:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Facility Environment:
- Any color scrubs allowed
- EPIC charting experience required
- Candidate Types:
- Open to local, non-local, and true traveler candidates
- Open to temp-to-perm conversion but not required
- Other:
- No 50-mile radius restrictions
- Quick turnaround on submissions encouraged
