Description

Job Summary:

Position: Charge RN (Registered Nurse)
Experience Required: 1 year Charge RN experience (1st timers accepted)
Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
Certifications: BLS required
Unit Type: Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry; potential medical-surgical diagnoses
Patient Ratio/Census: 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio; 38-bed unit with average daily census of 33
Systems Used: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Time Off (RTO): Maximum 7 days allowed
Weekends: Every other weekend required (unless specified otherwise)
Floating: Required within facility/scope of practice as needed
Call Requirements: None
Holiday Requirements:
If assignment covers 1 major holiday: must work it
If covers 2 major holidays: must work both
If covers 3 major holidays: must work 2
Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day

Med Ninjas Job ID #11455. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
