Description
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Float)
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
- Number of Staffed Beds: 418
- Float Requirement: Yes, must float between units and possibly to other facilities based on skill set
- On-call Requirement: No
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, at least every other weekend
- Block Scheduling: Not required
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
- Shift Hours: 48-hour work weeks not approved
- Special Requirements: Must have a personal vehicle for assignment
- Scrub Color: Any color (except OR/L&D: provided; Micro Bio Tech: business appropriate street clothes with lab coat; MLT: any color or business casual)
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: No fee
- Facilities Covered: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- Floating Incentives:
- Floating to Seaside: +$5/hr incentive and IRS mileage reimbursement
- Hotel provided for consecutive shifts at Seaside
- Facility will provide as much notice as possible for floating assignments
- Additional Notes:
- Travelers should expect to float according to hospital needs
- AYA Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other units/facilities
