Description
Job Summary:
Requires 1 year of ER experience (1st time travelers not accepted)
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must have experience in a Level II Trauma Center
Work setting: Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department (ED), including ED Holding, Triage, and Urgent Care
Patient population: Adult and pediatric (20% pediatrics)
Responsibilities:
Managing chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, abdominal pain, injuries, and emergent/urgent/non-urgent conditions Chest tube setup and care
Administering TPA and breathing treatments
Tracheostomy care
Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) and associated drugs
Performing cardioversion and defibrillation Using cooling/warming blankets
Caring for patients with LVAD/Impella devices
Obtaining 12-lead EKGs
Using rapid infuser devices

Med Ninjas Job ID #11655. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
