Job Summary:

- Practices independently as a competent nurse in clinical settings, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care situations.
- Provides both routine and complex nursing care, with the ability to focus on long-term goals and plans.
- Continually develops skills to cope with and manage various clinical nursing situations and contingencies.
- Makes appropriate patient care assignments and delegates tasks to other care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.
- Delivers nursing care in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation).

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1 year experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
- Current BLS certification (AHA only) required.
- Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact state required.
- Multiple shifts available.
