Job Summary (Travel RN – ED / ICU / Med-Surg)

- Provide direct and indirect patient care in Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) settings
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and closely monitor changes in patient condition
- Communicate promptly and effectively with physicians, nurse managers, and healthcare team regarding patient status and test results
- Respond rapidly and accurately to patient status changes and emergencies
- Deliver general nursing care and ensure patient safety and high-quality standards
- Take responsibility for assigned patient populations
- Delegate tasks appropriately and work independently as required
- Remain calm and confident during emergencies and crisis situations
- Float to different units/departments based on facility needs
- Adjust work schedules as required, including weekends and holidays
- Adhere to all staffing, personnel, patient safety, and service excellence policies
- Maintain all necessary nursing licenses and certifications
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient care management
