Description

Job Summary (List Format):

- Position: Registered Nurse - IMCU/PCU
- Location: Local candidates within 75 miles preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in IMCU/PCU, prior travel experience required
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Licensing: Active NY RN license and all other RN licenses (NURSYS report required)
- Skills Checklist: Must match IMCU/PCU specialty
- EMR Experience: Required, must have experience with EPIC
- Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, block scheduling not guaranteed
- Floating: Required to other units as needed
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Unit Details:
- Common Diagnoses: Neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op)
- Specialty Equipment: Temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BIPAP, Neptune, Vapo
- Ventilators: Chronic vents (unable to wean), RT support available
- Patient Demographics: Ages 18 and above
- Unit Size: 64 beds total, 15 beds designated for neuro patients
- Required Submissions:
- Updated resume with matching experience
- Driver’s license with matching address
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at submission
- Licenses verification
- Additional Notes: Local rates apply for candidates within 75 miles.

Med Ninjas Job ID #15282. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
