Job Summary (List Format):

- Participate as a clinical member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing and managing patient care.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation.
- Required orientation: 16 hours.
- Work schedule: 48 hours weekly guarantee; overtime billable after 48 hours/week.
- Contracts available for 8, 10, or 13 weeks.
- Expected to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
- Maintain a patient ratio goal of 1:7; additional travelers will help further reduce this ratio.
- Must have at least 1 year of previous stepdown experience and completion of at least one travel contract (preferred).
- Required skills: management of chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines, and administration/titration of various critical care medications (e.g., Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban).
- Must hold current state licenses in Illinois (required at submission) and Iowa (apply at offer).
- Certifications required: ACLS and BLS (AHA).
- Must submit driver's license, resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and at least one supervisory reference.
- Local candidates are allowed.
- Potential work locations include multiple trauma centers across the Quad Cities region (Rock Island - Level 1, Moline - Level 2, Madison/Sioux City/Bettendorf/Fort Dodge - Level 3, Muscatine - Level 4).

Compensation Details:
- On-call pay: $9/hr; charge/precept pay: $6/hr.
- Overtime/holiday: 1.15x pay; call-back: 1.5x pay (2-hour minimum).
