Labor & Delivery RN

LOCALS AT SAME RATE

Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.

All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.

1 Year Experience

Must have high risk exp

1ST Timers Accepted

pre approved time off will be case by case basis - work every other weekend and Holidays as needed

FLOAT REQUIRED: Post partum / Antepartum - may float to sister facilities that do Mother/Baby.

Patient Diagnoses

Midwifery clients, private OBs, Adult Recovery Services supporting substance recovery, Community care clinics as well

EPIC HARDSTOP, electronic fetal monitoring Experience is valued // Staffing to follow AWHONN guidelines

Special Procedures/Unit Details

High Risk/High Volume L&D- all types

4 ORs

Need high risk experience and able to work in fast paced, high acuity environments.

*** Functions in the role of Baby Nurse during the delivery and continues care of the newborn until transfer to post partum- HARD STOP REQUIREMENT do not screen

CIRCULATE - HARD STOP REQUIREMENT do not screen

*NB care, eyes, thighs, assessment

Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate

Circulate and provide NB care including eyes and Vit K injections - thighs and newborn assessments

Avg Daily Census: 15/day; 500-600 deliveries/month

Schedule: Posted every 6 weeks and to meet units needs

Required:

Med Ninjas Job ID #15666. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
